# Uniform fluid and mechanics anchors verification

Verified locally on 2026-09-27 against the development sources following
v1.5.0. These changes are recorded under Unreleased and have not been
published to CTAN.

- `l3build check`: all eight suites passed.
- The new `uniform-anchors` suite contains 82 assertions covering independent
geometry calculations, family directions, fluid contacts, transformed and
labelled nodes, instance isolation, standard TikZ shapes, pulley tangency,
coincident markers, distinct nearby points, and custom layer preservation.
- `scripts/verify_fluids.py`: 48 of 48 examples compiled; 16 invalid geometry
cases produced their expected errors; isolated single-file checks passed.
- `scripts/generate_reference.py --check`: all 70 feature references current.
- `scripts/build_overleaf_bundle.py --check`: generated runtime current.
- The 16-page fluid/mechanics gallery was rendered and every page inspected.
It includes all fourteen native objects, transformations, and opaque fills.
- The 64-page manual rebuilt without errors, undefined references, or
overfull boxes. Changed direction/debug pages and representative generated
fluid reference pages were rendered and inspected.
- Latest pulley routing and mechanics primitive examples were inspected;
tangent connections and assembled mechanics geometry remain continuous.
- Both the gallery and starter compiled with only the single-file Overleaf
package and an empty user TeX tree. ZIP entries match the updated package,
  starter, and README exactly.
- The user TeX installation was refreshed. The gallery compiled from a
directory without a local package; recorder output confirmed
`~/Library/texmf/tex/latex/tikzphysics/` supplied the package and modules.
All four changed runtime modules match the current source byte for byte.
The package header remains v1.5.0 while these changes are Unreleased.
